First impression

Some people trust their first impressions about a person’s character because they believe these judgments are generally correct. Other people do not judge a person’s character quickly because they believe first impressions are often wrong. Compare these two attitudes. Which attitude do you agree with? Support your choose with specific example.

First impressions is very important and impossible to undo, it can make people evaluate you at first based on your appearance, body language or even your dress, while other people do not trust in first impressions and believe that people cannot judge a person’s character quickly. In my view, there are several point to support each statement.

Some people believe first impressions are often wrong so they do not judge a person’s character quickly. Sometime you cannot judge people at the first time you meet. You do not know the real personality of person just because you talk to or see them once. Some people might pretent to be good to you or some good person might behave bad to the stranger. Those all you will not know if you do not get to know them.

However other people trust their first impressions about a person’s character. Some situation we have to believe the first impression to show their well prepared such as job interview or formal event. That is why we need to  prepare the answer, prepare the words we have to say and dress good. Moreover first impressions can show your personal statement. Sometime you might have meet someone by chance, talking can show the attitude, everything you though, how you can handle the conversation and do you open your mind to meet new people or not.

In my opinion, I agree with trust their first impressions according to the reasons mentioned above. I believe that first impressions can tell many things for that person, even it is not true but it can inform that he/she tries to impress me. And because it can imply your character and personality, I think it worth to win that moment and make every first impressions good.
